Design and manufacturing
Some describe the experience as ‘like being kids in a sweet shop’ others are simply over awed at the breadth of materials and the types of construction open to them.
These are typical reactions when we take clients on the ‘grand tour’ of our partner factory where our designs are realised.
Our production is unique in that there are many different trades under one roof and little is contracted, which means controlling and co-ordinating the detail of different facets is much simpler and faster!
Quite often details are ‘thrashed out’ on the factory floor by pulling the metalwork in with the joinery and upholstery so everyone is talking the same language. We cover anything from Joinery to metalwork. From acrylics to upholstery. From sheet glass to solid surfacing.
When you bundle all that up with a ‘can do’ attitude anything is possible.
As designers ourselves, our role is to grease the wheels of your bespoke ideas, developing designs and managing the time and quality element with the factory.
So how does it work?
Its very simple really…we can sit down and discuss ideas with you at any stage. We’ll take those ideas away and pull up some 3D visuals so that everyone has an understanding of the design. We’ll cost the design and if approved we’ll then go to prototype if the quantity justifies it. Once ‘signed off’ we’re ready to roll with production.
We encourage clients to take the opportunity to be involved in the production and visit the factory as often as they like. Seeing your ideas come to fruition is the most rewarding part of what we do.
